Áreas de especialización adicionales
I bring a diverse set of skills rooted in wellbeing, creativity, and community engagement. My background includes gardening and developing educational gardens for children, yoga and prenatal yoga teaching, massage therapy, and a long practice of Non-Violent Communication. Through years of project management, social science research, and intersectional work, I have designed communities of practice and coordinated international youth work camps. I value personal growth, movement, and creative expression through painting, ecstatic dance, juggling, and soap-bubble arts. My experience also includes cultural intermediation in schools, volunteering, and supporting foreigner families. Multilingual in English and French, I enjoy traveling, swimming, and exploring nature by bike.
Experiencia formativa más relevante
My most relevant non-formal training experiences come from my long-term involvement as a group leader in international work camps with SCI Italia (2013–2016). In 2013, I coordinated a camp with 10 volunteers at Comunità La Casetta (Castagneto, Turin area), supporting people with intellectual disabilities through activities that fostered autonomy, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing. I facilitated garden therapy, sports, manual workshops, and led ice-breakers, energizers, role-plays, and group reflections. These were deeply positive experiences, and I consistently received encouraging feedback for my facilitation and group-care skills. I later led two organic farming camps: in 2015 in Alessandria and in 2016 in Cagliari. Beyond the camps, my roles as Coordinator & Project Manager and as Lead Researcher for the SALTO Climate Justice project strengthened my ability to coordinate learning processes, facilitate youth engagement, and support diverse groups.
Formación académica relevante
My educational background combines sustainability, social sciences, and environmental studies. I hold a PhD in Commodity Sciences from Sapienza University, where I specialised in sustainable development, geopolitics, renewable energies, and circular economy. I completed a Master’s degree in Economics of Environment, Development, and Territory at RomaTre University, focusing on human rights, climate justice, migrations, and environmental policy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with training in social sciences, statistics, and public policy. I have strengthened this academic foundation through specialised courses, including UN Women certifications on gender equality, migration, and gender-responsive budgeting, as well as SALTO-Youth trainings on social entrepreneurship, project management, work camp leadership, and the ongoing Eco-ToT training on eco-literacy. Additional learning includes advanced Non-Violent Communication workshops and study visits on rural youth inclusion.
