Preparación Printed lists/mind maps/wheels of emotions

Materiales necesarios: Papers and colorful pens and markers or watercolors (if short on time, a human shape drawn already on the paper). A list/mindmap/wheel of emotions.

Descripción

The exercise needs some eco-emotion mapping before it (emotion wheel etc). Names of emotions are available for participants during the activity.

Participants take some time looking at the names of emotions and reflect on which part of the the body they are felt. This can be done individually or facilitated. After some thinking, participants color the parts of human form with the color that reflects a certain emotion and the spot of the body where it feels. The participants either use the ready drawn human form or draw a human form on the paper.

Reflection: sharing as much it feels comfortable: which parts of body were affected to which emotion, which words were used to describe the emotion and its movement? Maybe some universal research results on the topic of embodiment of emotions.

Variaciones

Continue with the mapping with movement: move around in the space and move your body according to what the emotion feels like. After this, a grounding activity is needed.
